writing them. The cameras profiled here represent all types of cameras
from the common to the obscure, pricey to affordable, rare and hard to
find to everyday finds. The one common thread of each of these cameras is
their ability to take great pictures, involve the user in the picture
taking process, impress with their precise mechanical design and in the
case of some, delight with their sheer quirkiness. In the course of my
35 years selling and servicing all types of photographic equipment I have
come to appreciate the the beauty of fine mechanical design and the
