If you have owned and used a
Hasselblad camera for any length of time then this service is invaluable
to you. If your film magazine is not spacing properly, frames overlap,
does not stop at the proper frame, leaks light or has any of the the
other numerous problems that plague all Hasselblad A series backs then
this service will set your A12, A24, or A16 back in perfect working
order.
With over 30 years experience
servicing all things Hasselblad I have learned how to service your film
magazine properly---the secret DO NOT TAKE SHORTCUTS. I
completely disassemble the back , remove all the old lubricants, replace
the necessary parts, relubricate using only Nye synthetic oils and
greases (simply the finest available) and making all the necessary
adjustments to assure the level of service you expect.
As you can see from the picture
above, a Hasselblad film magazine is far more complicated than you would
think and a high level of expertise and experience is required to
service it properly.
All parts used are genuine
Hasselblad and I only use the finest tools, test equipment and
lubricants. After servicing, each back is tested in actual operation and
the spacing test film is returned with your magazine.
