care. With over 30 years experience servicing these fine cameras I
will perform a thorough mechanical reconditioning of any 500 series
manual wind camera. This service is done to manufacture's
specifications. All deteriorated seals and bumpers are renewed and all
assemblies cleaned, lubricated and adjusted. All lubricants used are
Nye™ synthetic oils and greases―the absolute finest lubricants for
this application. Nye™ synthetic lubricants are world renowned for
their exceptional properties such as non-oxidizing, non-migrating,
pressure resistance and superb lubricity.
This service will take care of most common
problems that are common on these cameras such as: Jamming, sluggish
or drooping rear shutter flaps and sluggish operation.
Turnaround time is 4~5 business days and

lubricants used in this overhaul are NYE™ synthetic greases and
oils. These lubricants are the finest available and easily meet
or exceed all manufacturer's specifications. NYE™ lubricants are
know world wide for their superb lubricative , non-oxidizing and
non migration properties. |
This is mechanical restoration
and it will also repair most problems on your Hasselblad body, such
as jamming, rear curtain flaps that are sluggish or do not clear the
frame, slow or sluggish operation etc. This service includes
cleaning the exterior coverings and trim but it is not a cosmetic
restoration. Missing or shrunken leatherette will not be replaced.
Major repair parts if needed are not included — these include; gears
or gear clusters, front pinion drive spring, rear shutter drive
spring, winding knob, etc. If a major part is needed you will be
given a quote and if not acceptable you purchase price will be
refunded.
