For $119.95 I perform a thorough, comprehensive overhaul that covers just about everything that goes wrong with these exquisitely made cameras. I also perform all necessary maintenance to return the accuracy, feel and performance you remember and expect. Return shipping in the USA is included and international return shipping adds $20.00.

The service consists of the following:

• Complete disassembly
• Shutter overhaul
  • Ultrasonically clean slow speed escapement
  • Ultrasonically clean selftimer mechanism
  • Ultrasonically clean sync delay escapement
  • Individually clean shutter blades both main and secondary
  • Replace main spring
  • Renew sync contact plate (many have been damaged due to someone flushing solvent through the shutter a real No No)
  • Micro-polish operating ring bearing surface
  • Micro-polish main plate bearing surface
  • Check and renew all operating levers and springs as necessary
  • Lubricate using the appropriate NYE oil or grease
  • Adjust timing
  • Assemble and check operation
• Remove deteriorated grease from focusing cam
• Lubricate above with appropriate grade of NYE Gel synthetic damping grease
• Clean and lubricate advance mechanism
• Rebuild focusing block
• Clean range/viewfinder optics
• Align vertical and horizontal components
• Renew deteriorated light seals
• Assemble and check operation
• Clean and treat leather coverings

All work is performed using the finest instrument grade tools and precision measuring and test equipment. All lubricants used are NYE™ Synthetic oils and greases, the finest available and far superior to the originals. These lubricants will not oxidize or migrate and will literally last a lifetime in this application. All parts used a genuine manufacture's and adjustments and setting are to original specification and in many cases are done to a higher standard.

This service will correct most problems and repairs such as a sticky or sluggish shutter, inaccurate and misaligned rangefinder, sticky advance, light leaks and many other complaints. It may not cover cameras that have been abused, impact damaged, liquid or corrosion damaged and tamper damaged. If for any reason your camera falls outside the scope of this service I will provide an estimate at no charge asking only $9.95 for return shipping if the estimate were to prove unacceptable.

Although I clean and treat the leather this is not a cosmetic restoration. If you include a lens I will clean the optics at not charge but if repairs on the lens are necessary an estimate will be provided at no charge.
